DCB DC Blocking Arrestors

The DCB Series from NexTek is designed to provide broadband surge protection while blocking DC signals, using an integrated capacitor-based shunt design. These arrestors offer consistent performance across major RF bands and simplify system integration by eliminating the need for external DC-blocking capacitors.

By shunting transient energy to ground and blocking DC, DCB units are ideal for receive-only RF paths, front ends that are DC-sensitive, or systems where DC power is injected elsewhere. These arrestors also support global mitigation requirements for lightning (LEMP), ESD, and EMP transients, especially in commercial, telecom, and military applications.

Compact and rugged, each DCB unit is optimized for low insertion loss and flat RF performance. DCB components come in two subgroups: COM, operating over 698 to 2700 MHz. and WFI, with a range of 2000-6000 MNHz. Constructed with high-reliability materials and sealed for outdoor use, the series supports long-term deployment in critical RF environments.
