Craig Collins is the President of NexTek, LLC., since September 2020.
Before acquiring NexTek in September 2020, Craig was our General Manager and responsible for all day-to-day operations of the company. He has over 30 years of industry experience, and previous to his time here at NexTek, he was co-founder and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Radio Waves, Inc.
Craig earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Franklin Pierce University in 1990. He is married to his wife, Kristan, and they have two daughters. He enjoys coaching his girls’ youth basketball and softball teams, family time, and a variety of outdoor activities as well.
Director of Engineering
Chris Penwell is NexTek's Director of Engineering and has been with us since March 2019. Chris provides advanced engineering direction and technical support related to the application of RF surge protectors and filters in complex systems with special requirements such as phase over temp and high RF power systems. Chris works with customer engineering teams to define requirements and solutions for RF, DC Power, AC Power, data line, and DC EMI filtering products.
Marsha Matzkin has been at NexTek for five years. Prior to that she spent thirteen years as VP of Finance for a PCB manufacturer. She has worked in numerous industries as a controller and internal auditor, as well as public accounting. Marsha has a bachelor's degree from Brandeis University and a masters in accounting from Northeastern University.
Business Development Manager, Technical Sales
Charlie DiFronzo is NexTek’s Business Development Manager and Technical Sales Manager. He has over 20 years of experience working in technical sales. Charlie has experience working with engineers from all over the world, working collaboratively to find solutions with customers in places such as Israel, Italy, Germany, England, and more.
George M. Kauffman
Principal Engineer, CTO
George oversees NexTek’s engineering team in developing new lightning arrestor and DC power conditioning products. George is a recognized leader in the lightning protection industry and holds multiple patents in the EMC field. His technical expertise assures that each product line exhibits optimal technical performance characteristics. George also leads NexTek’s technical support. Many customers have benefited from George’s technical guidance when selecting the most appropriate and cost-effective product solution.
Prior to NexTek, George spent eighteen years at Digital Equipment Corporation in numerous roles including manufacturing, product development, product management and software development. George holds both a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Engineering Management from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. He is registered in Massachusetts as a Professional Engineer.
Customer Service, Inside Sales Manager
Sharon has over 20 years customer service management and inside sales experience, 15 of those years have been in the RF Industry. As the customer liaison, She works and communicates with Engineering and Manufacturing departments to be sure customer’s needs and demands are being met. She is self-driven and has proven that she is committed to increasing sales.
